Use the Ignore Rules dialog box to determine which slide will appear in the table of contents. To access the Ignore Rules dialog box, click Configuration > Ignore Rules.

Ignore First slide
|
Usually the first slide of the presentation contains the title of the presentation and thus it should not be included on the Table of Contents. Check this option to prevent the first slide of the presentation from appearing in the Table of Contents.

Ignore TOC slide(s)
|
Check this option to prevent the Table of Contents slide(s) to appear in the Table of Contents. (Note: When using multiple Table of Contents slides, they will only appear once, if not ignored).

Ignore repeating slides
|
When a topic does not fit in a single slide, you might want to span the topic in various slides with the same title. To prevent PowerTOC from inserting the spanned slides on the Table of Contents, check this option. (Note: PowerTOC will not ignore Normal Slides whose title is the same as a previous Title Slide).

Ignore slides containing
|
PowerTOC will ignore any slide whose title contains the text entered in the edit box. For example, to ignore spanned slides using usual ways of marking spanned slides, you might use the following ignore list:
