Ribbon tab

Compatible with PowerPoint 2007, PowerMerge creates its own tab on the PowerPoint ribbon bar. The following illustration shows the PowerMerge options:

The Evaluation version section closes after you purchase and register the product.

On previous versions of PowerPoint, you access the ribbon by using the toolbar button or menu item of PowerMerge.

Ribbon button	Function
Associate	Open a default File Open dialog to select the data sheet to associate to the current presentation.
Open	Open the currently associated data sheet. The button will be disabled if no data sheet has been associated to the current presentation.
Clear	Clear the association with a data sheet. The button will be disabled if no data sheet has been associated to the current presentation.
Create	Create a Excel worksheet containing all fields present on the current presentation. Such worksheet can be later associated with the presentation, ensuring that all fields are correctly defined.
Image field	Manage image fields. The button is only enabled if an image is selected.
Check fields	Open the "Check fields" dialog to see potential problems with the presentation or the associated data sheet (if applicable).
Fields pane	Show or hide the "Fields pane" to quickly insert fields on the presentation.
Keep with next	Keep the current slide with the next slide when performing a combined merge.
Merge Combined	Perform a combined merge of the presentation. The button will be disabled if no data sheet has been associated to the current presentation.
Merge Multiple	Perform a multiple merge of the presentation. The button will be disabled if no data sheet has been associated to the current presentation.
Configure	Open the "Configure PowerMerge" so you can set options controlling how PowerMerge works.
Help	Open this help file.
Order now*	Open your default Web browser and navigates to the product ordering page of the MomSoft Web site.
Register*	Open the registration dialog so that you can enter your registration information.
