To access the Configure PowerMerge dialog click on the Configure button of the ribbon tab.

Merge Combined options
These options are related to the placing and naming of merged combined presentations:
| ▪ | Select whether to save the merged presentation in the same folder as the original presentation, or in a subfolder. |
| ▪ | Enter a suffix to append to the name of the original presentation. |
| ▪ | Please note that to prevent overwriting the original presentation, a suffix is needed if the merged presentation is stored in the same folder as the original presentation. |
Merge Multiple options
These options are related to the placing and naming of merged multiple presentations:
| ▪ | Select whether to save the merged presentation in the same folder as the original presentation, or in a subfolder. |
| ▪ | Check the 'Rename presentations using the first field in the data sheet' to identify the merged presentations. |
| ▪ | Please note that PowerMerge will append to each merged presentation the record number so that "Presentation" will become "Presentation - (1)", etc. |
Confirmation options
Contains options related to confirmations asked to the user when performing merge operations. These options can be disabled also by checking the 'Don't show again' checkbox on the appropriate confirmation dialog.
| ▪ | Warn if merged presentation(s) already exists: When checked and one or more merged presentations exist in the destination folder, the user will have the option to cancel the merge. |
| ▪ | Show an explanation of merge methods before a merge operation: When checked, a short explanation of merge methods will be shown before any merge operation. |
